Mint Debit Card Terms of Use

1. Card Issuance

1.1.

The mint Debit Card is issued by Sunrate Partners UK Limited pursuant to license by Mastercard International. Mastercard and the Mastercard brand mark are registered trademarks of Mastercard International.

1.2.

The Card is available in both physical (plastic/metal) and virtual formats, providing flexibility for different payment scenarios and user preferences.

2. Card Usage

2.1.

Your mint Debit Card can be used for purchases at merchants that accept Mastercard, cash withdrawals from ATMs, and online transactions worldwide.

2.2.

All transactions are subject to available funds in your linked mint Wallet Account. Transactions will be declined if insufficient funds are available.

3. Security and PIN

3.1.

You are responsible for keeping your Card, PIN, and card details secure. Never share your PIN or card details with anyone.

3.2.

You can manage your Card security settings through the mint Finance mobile application, including freezing/unfreezing your Card and setting transaction limits.

4. Fees and Charges

4.1.

Card usage fees and charges are detailed in the table below. These fees may vary depending on your Account Plan (e.g., Start, Advance, Elevate etc.) and transaction type.

4.2.

Currency conversion rates are provided by SUNRATE based on competitive market rates. A small conversion fee may apply for transactions in currencies other than GBP.

5. Lost or Stolen Cards

5.1.

If your Card is lost or stolen, you must immediately freeze it using the mint Finance app or contact Customer Services to report the incident.

5.2.

We will issue a replacement Card upon request. Replacement fees may apply as detailed in the Fees and Limits Schedule.

6. Card Termination

6.1.

We may terminate your Card immediately if we suspect fraud, misuse, or if your linked Wallet Account is closed.

6.2.

Upon termination, you must destroy your physical Card and cease using virtual Card details. Any remaining funds will be available through your Wallet Account.
